The Youth Project is excited to announce the launch of our new program, Queerly Divine! Queerly Divine is a 3-part program that seeks to invite religious & spirtual 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, or queer youth who have had experiences with religion/spirituality in the past. This space is intended for older youth, 18-30.
When: Sunday September 17th, October 1st, & October 15th
Time: 3pm-5pm. Extra time be will available afterwards for a debrief
Where: Radstorm, 2177 Gottingen St, Halifax, NS B3K 3B5
Our goal is to be able to provide a comfy space where 2SLGBTQIA+ youth can come together to build community and to have meaningful conversations about how religion & queerness have played a role in their lives. Here, we will be guided through facilitated conversations on topics such as: personal connections between religion and queerness, as well as personal relationships between queerness & joy/religion & joy, etc.
Please feel free to bring a blanket, a pillow, or any personal comfort items you’d want with you. Snacks, tea & fidget items will be provided, however you are more than welcome to bring your own if you wish to do so.
If you are interested in attending please DM us or reach out to calendula@youthproject.ns.ca to register.
The event is held in a wheelchair accessible space in the North end of Halifax. The Youth Project continues to uphold a mask mandate at our programs. Please visit our link tree for Radstorm’s Access Guide.
