Join us on the third Monday of every month at Queer Disability Hang – a casual and low-pressure hangout space that centers queer and Disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent youth 25 and under. Come hang out with us, be weird, and talk about disability-related things!
This space happens at 6-8pm ADT on Zoom with the possibility of in-person meet-ups happening in the future. Our virtual space will have closed captions, chat reading, and visual descriptions – we are committed to making these spaces as accessible for everyone attending as possible, so we invite and encourage you to name any access needs you may have when registering! Starting next month (March 21st), ASL interpreters will be available upon request.
This space is facilitated by queer, disabled staff from South House (Frank) and the Youth Project (Toby). Send a DM for the Zoom link, or email Frank at outreach@southhousehalifax.ca with any questions.
