Join us Friday, November 18th at 6pm for an educational event in partnership with The Discovery Centre!
The Youth Project and The Discovery Centre have teamed up for a special evening event in celebration of International Day of LGBTQ+ People in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths).
Join us in sparking discussion with a talented speaker panel of local 2SLGBTQIA+ professionals and allies. This 2LGBTQIA+ youth-centered event is aimed to spark discussions surrounding vaccine confidence, healthcare access, and career pathways in STEM. The event will wrap up with self-guided exploration of Discovery Centre’s featured exhibit: Beyond Racism, Challenging the Way We Think.
This event is free, and two bus tickets will be provided to youth needing transportation. Advance registration is required.
In our aim to create the most accessible spaces possible, The Youth Project continues to uphold a mask mandate at our programs to support our attendees and staff. Open to anyone ages 13+!
For more information, check out our access guide or email our Programming & Communications Coordinator, Skye at skye@youthproject.ns.ca
