We have four Connect the Dots programs running currently, however we would like to expand! Are you interested in helping/volunteering to start up a Connect the Dots in your local library? Please contact us at nsyouthprojectvolunteers@gmail.com
Just show up and come on in! There’s no formal sign-up process to take part in a Connect the Dots meeting.
Meetings are open to ALL youth ages 18 and under, no matter your sexual orientation or gender identity. You will never be asked to identify yourself in these ways.
Meetings will be split into half discussion (maybe you want to talk about coming out, or labels, homophobia in your school, or what’s happening lately in your life) and half activity (we have a button-maker and tons of fun stuff!) if those attending want to stop discussion to do something fun. What we talk about or do is up to the people there. Connect the Dots is also a confidential space.
Each meeting is facilitated by trained staff and volunteers from The Youth Project.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us!
