Settler Solidarity Workshop

Are you a non-Indigenous person looking to deepen your understanding of what it means to be a settler?  It is imperative always and especially now that settlers take meaningful action and hold ourselves, our communities, and our governments to account. Come join us on Wednesday June 30th @ 6pm ADT on Zoom to talk about settler responsibility and ways to build solidarity with Indigenous Sovereignty movements.

This workshop was created by Rae Paul, a second generation settler and mixed Asian/Guyanese person, and Carmel Farahbakhsh, a second generation settler and mixed Iranian immigrant, with the support of Calen Sack. L’nu & Nehiyaw. The workshop will examine sustainable, tangible, and care-based ways to intentionally engage and offer support as settlers.

Closed captioning and ASL interpretation will be provided. Prior knowledge not required, come as you are! To confirm your interest contact Rae at rae@youthproject.ns.ca or send a DM!
