The Youth Project is pleased to announce the appointment of Gabriel Enxuga to the position of Support Services Manager. Gabriel has previously worked in the role of Community Educator with the organization and also has a long history of working in community organizations and advocating on 2SLGBTQ+ and anti-poverty issues. They are in the final few weeks of completing their Bachelor of Social Work degree.
In this role Gabriel will be responsible for ensuring networks of support are available to 2SLGBTQ+ youth in Nova Scotia. These networks include individual counselling, social support groups, peer supports, GSAs and partnerships with other supportive organizations. As part of the role Gabriel will be available to meet directly with youth and families to provide support, information and resources.
