Click HERE for a media waiver form. All participants must sign a media waiver for us to use your interview in the guide/videos.

Calling all LGBTQ+ youth (up to 25 years old).  In our quest to provide NS teachers and schools with updated and relevant resources that support LGBTQ+ students, The Youth Project is producing a series of short videos and we want to include your stories:

What is/was your experience as LGBTQ+ in your school?

We will be holding 2 INTERVIEW and FILM nights, Feb 22 and Feb 24 where we will provide an open forum for LGBTQ+ youth to gather and share their experiences in both group and 1-on-1 settings.

The purpose of these nights will be to film stories that highlight the realities of homophobia, transphobia and biphobia in schools, how teachers respond, and the impacts they have on the education of LGBTQ+ youth.

WHEN: February 22 and February 24 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm

WHERE: The Youth Project, 2281 Brunswick Street, Halifax

If you would like to attend but are camera shy, we will also be recording voice overs!

If you’re uncomfortable with any form of recording, but would still like to attend and give feedback, you are of course still welcome!
