Binder & Gaff Program

The Youth Project's Safer and Healthier Trans Youth Chest Binder & Gaff program

With the support of the Dartmouth Community Health Board, The Youth Project is pleased to offer a binder & gaff program!

The Youth Project can provide chest binders and gaffs to youth (aged 25 and under) in need. With your binder or gaff, you’ll receive a sheet with wear & care instructions.

After a few weeks, we will send a follow-up to see how your new binder/gaff is working out.

We Accept Donations!

We will also be collecting donations of new & used (but still-wearable) binders and donations of new gaffs to provide for others, to keep the program going! Please get in touch with us to donate.

To qualify, you are…

A transgender youth aged 25 or younger
Live in Nova Scotia
